This Is Our Story

幾年か前自分の車、ランクル40と一緒にオーストラリアを横断するという計画を立てました。
こいつは40年も昔の車で遅い、うるさい、暑い、そして壊れても部品もないそんな車です。
周りの人にも無謀だ！やめておけ！と言われました。
でも僕はこの車で世界を走る姿が鮮明に想像できた。
砂漠や熱帯雨林どこまでも続く海岸線を力強く走る姿、それを実現させたかった。

僕にとっても初めてのことだし新しいことへの挑戦の一つ。
僕たちが一番大切なのは、新しいことに挑戦したりやっぱりそのすべてに変化をつけていくこと。
人生っていうものを生き方というものを変化させていくというのはすごく大切だと思う。

普段やらないことをする。
そういうことから新しい可能性だとか、新しい道みたいのがね、できてくるんじゃないかなってすごく思ってます。

人は何歳になっても変われる気がするよね。生きてる限り常にその進化をし続けるというか、
新しい自分になって新しい喜びとか新しい楽しみとか、新しい価値とかそういったことを
見つけながらこれからもやっていければいいなと思っています。
こういうことを今後やっぱり続けていけたら、
すごくその人生っていうものが楽しくなるんじゃないかなって思ったりします

常々思うのは「思いは叶う」
願えばそれは現実になるということです。

結局できないのは、できないのではなく、やらないからできないんだと思うし、
やろうと思えば世の中必ずいろんなことができると思っています。
自分一人でできなくても色々な人が力を貸してくれるし、みんなの力を使ってやれば
出来ない事はないんじゃないかと思います。
ここに来れたのもいろんな人のおかげだし自分一人の力で来たわけじゃない
自分の強い思いがあって、みんな協力してくれたと思うから。
みんなにこうすればやれるかもしれないということをこれから伝えていけたらと思います。

Five years ago I made a plan to drive across Australia with my car, a LC40. This is a 40 year old car that is slow, noisy, hot, and has broken parts for which there are no parts. It's also reckless to the people around you! Stop it! They said. But I could clearly imagine driving this car around the world. I wanted to create the image of running powerfully through deserts, tropical rainforests, and endless coastlines.

It's a first for me, and I'm doing it as a way to try something new. The most important thing for us is to try new things and make changes. I think it is very important to change the way we live our lives. Do something you don't normally do. I really think that new possibilities and new paths will emerge from this kind of thing.

I feel like people can change no matter how old they are. As long as we are alive, we will continue to evolve, Become a new person and experience new joy, new fun, new value, and such things. I hope that I can keep finding it and keep doing it. If I can continue to do things like this in the future, I think that life will become much more enjoyable.

What I always think is "My dreams come true" Hopefully it will become a reality.

In the end, I think the reason you can't do something is not because you can't do it, but because you don't try. I believe that you can do all kinds of things in this world if you put your mind to it. Even if you can't do it alone, many people will lend you their help, and if you use everyone's strength, you can do it. I don't think there is anything that can't be done. I was able to come here thanks to many people, and I didn't come here on my own. I had strong feelings and I think everyone cooperated with me. From now on, I hope to let everyone know that they can do it this way.
